Junior Software Developer
A junior software developer based in Galway, Ireland.
I have always had a huge interest in media and technology, an interest which I pursued through my
university studies.
Following my graduation, I spent two years working and travelling in Canada. Upon my return to Ireland,
and the arrival of Covid-19 lockdowns, I chose to spend my time learning new skills. I enrolled in Code
Institute's Software Development diploma which allowed me to gain skills in HTML,
CSS, JavaScript and Python.
I aim to use these skills combined with my B.Sc. in Multimedia to gain entry into the tech world. I look
forward to finding my place and discovering what I can accomplish with the right company.

Diploma in Software Development
Completed the course with Distinction.
Successfully completed four milestone projects, full details of which can be found on the

2013 - 2016
Dublin City University
B.Sc. (Hons) in Multimedia
Graduated with a 2.1 Honours Degree.
During my final year, I was Director and Project Manager of my group’s short-film.
I also collaborated with another group member to co-write and co-edit the film, which
can be found here.

Barista
Worked full-time in a café while studying online for my diploma.
2020 - 2021
Student & Online Upskilling
I decided to use the Covid-19 lockdown to upskill.
I wanted to make the move into the tech industry so I began doing
introductory coding courses online before enrolling in Code
Institute’s diploma in Software Development in September 2020.
2017 - 2019
Bartender & Travelling
Following my move to Canada, I worked full-time in Toronto while also being able to travel and see different places all across the country.

Worked full-time following my graduation from university.

Waitress & Kids Club Supervisor
Throughout school and university, I worked as a waitress in a restaurant and then a supervisor in a hotel kids club, either part-time or full-time depending on what my studies allowed.
